SPECIAL TOPIC: JESUS AND THE SPIRIT
Acts 16:8-14 and Galatians 4 illustrate the close relationship between Jesus the Son
and the Holy Spirit. The Spirit’s task in this new age is to magnify and bear withess
to Jesus (cf. John 15:29; 16:13-15).

- the Father sends the Spirit in John 14:26
- both from the Father and the Son in Luke 24:49

- “Another of the same kind.” The best name for the Spirit is “the other Jesus” (G. Campbell Morgan)
